Treatment to include:

 

  • School and/ or home programmes
  • Advice and strategies to home/ school
  • Individual sensory diets
  • Individual therapy sessions

Options available:

 

1.Consultation advice

- A consultation with parent and verbal strategies/guidance provided

 

2.A consultation with parents or school and written recommendations

-One-hour appointment/ consultation

-Standardised questionnaires

-Written summary

 

3. Assessment only

-Interview with parent/ carer

-Interview with school/ nursery

-Individual assessment of posture and fine motor skills (children with a physical disability)

-Report

 

 

4. A full assessment of the child’s needs

-Interview with parent/ carer

-Interview with school

-Classroom observation

-Full individual assessment (to include motor skills assessment)

-Detailed report

-Individualised therapy programme

-Feedback meeting with parent and school

 

5.School/ Nursery observation

-1 ½ Hour observation in setting

-Summary report with recommendations/ advice

 

6.Therapy A - 6 sessions of weekly therapy to include:

-40 minutes direct therapy

-20 minutes for preparation and professional record keeping

-Feedback summary report

 

7.Therapy B - 10 sessions of weekly therapy to include:

-40 minutes direct therapy

-20 minutes for preparation and professional record keeping

-Feedback summary report

 

8.School commissionsMinimum of 3 hours per month

-Using the P4C model if required

 

9.Half day courseApprox. 3 hours. Topics such as:

-Sensory processing and adapting the classroom

-Self regulation

-Fine motor skills development

-Coordination difficulties

-Handwriting

-Posture and seating (physical disabilities)

 

Services are flexible to meet each person’s requirements and these can be agreed before hand

 

  • Additional expenses

Travel is charged at 45p/mile.

 

  • Payment

Quotations will be provided following a discussion and agreement with the parent/ carer/ professional. Half of this amount is required when booking the assessment, the final half can be paid within 14 days of the assessment completion. Upon receipt of the total amount a full report will be provided electronically.
